Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is one of the most popular laser procedures today. Unwanted hair has been an aesthetic problem for ages, combated with bothersome procedures like shaving, waxing, and plucking that only provide temporary results. Laser hair removal delivers a permanent, long-lasting solution to unwanted hair once and for all!

How Laser Hair Removal Works

During a treatment, our Astanza ReSmooth laser releases bright flashes of light onto the area with unwanted hair. The light safely penetrates past the skin and targets the melanin in your hair follicles. The melanin absorbs the light energy, converts to heat and effectively destroys the growing cells that create hair. Over a series of treatments, your hair will become thinner, grow slower, and eventually cease growing altogether.

Before starting treatment, it’s important to know that multiple sessions are necessary to achieve lasting results. Laser hair removal is only effective on hairs that are in their active growing stage. Because all hairs grow at different rates, multiple treatments are needed to target each hair during their growth stage.

How does laser hair removal work?

During treatment, our FDA-approved Astanza ReSmooth laser safely sends pulses of light energy through your skin.
